Welcome to South Bay Youth Sports — South Bay’s premier youth flag football league and camp. Our specialized speed camp, which is included in the spring season package, featured Rick Hagedorn - SPEEDBURNERS,  USC football coaches and top players, who can really motivate and teach the kids the game of football.

Sunday games started in March and are played in El Segundo. This passing league is designed for boys and girls grades K-8 and teaches fundamental football skills that transfer to tackle football.  Additionally, SBYS focuses on proper fitness, team competition and a positive attitude. 

This is the only flag football league in the south bay area, which accepts both individual and team registrations.  Really want to play with a team of friends?  Register together on our separate Team Registration Form.

Summer Football Camp 2009 Registration OPEN!

SBYS 2009 Spring Flag Football Championship Games at Campus El Segundo.    

The league kicked off with our speed camp on March 1st featuring Rick Hagedorn of Speedburners, one of America’s top Nike® sponsored professional speed and performance instructors. Additionally, Southern California’s top professional and high school coaches provided expert instruction. This was a fun opportunity for the campers to learn the fundamentals of football through exciting speed drills and circuit stations.  

The above picture features our Spring 2009 speed camp winners of the “Fastest Kid” race at El Segundo’s Hazeltine Stadium, which was attended by nearly 300 campers and instructed by Rick Hagedorn, a top NFL COMBINE Speed Coach.

We are also honored that Under Armour®, Powerade® and HAX (Hanger Athletic Xchange), are sponsors of our camp and league. HAX is a brand new, premier sports and training center located in Hawthorne. Powerade® hydration stations were readily available throughout the day.
